Amelia Besola, Appellant v. Stephanie Bloomfield et al, Respondents
- The court appointed Eric Pula as personal representative (PR) of Mark Besola’s estate (Estate) under a will purportedly executed in 2018 (2018 Will). Pula hired Gordon Thomas Honeywell LLP (GTH) to assist him with probating the Estate. Then he sold Estate real property and took the proceeds for his personal use. The trial court determined the 2018 Will was invalid. It then admitted a will executed in 2013 to probate and appointed Amelia Besola as PR of the Estate. Amelia sued GTH for legal malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty. GTH moved to dismiss under CR 12(b)(6). The trial court granted the motion, dismissing Amelia’s lawsuit with prejudice. Amelia appeals, arguing her lawsuit was timely and GTH owed a duty to the Estate and its heirs. COA # 866516. King County Superior Court #23-2-25410-4 SEA.
