Belisle v. Proliance Surgeons, Inc., P.S.
In April 2016, Stephanie Belisle underwent an adenotonsillectomy performed by Dr. Daniel Seely. When she had some issues swallowing, a second procedure followed in August 2016. Following difficulty eating and speaking, Belisle was diagnosed with nerve damage. She sued Proliance, Dr. Seely, and several others in April 2020. Several parties were dismissed on summary judgment including a lack of consent claim against Dr. Zundel. The case proceeded to trial in November 2023 and the jury returned a defense verdict.
