Milagros Moniz v. King County Public Hospital District No. 1
Moniz visited Valley Medical Center’s emergency room and his primary care provider at the Kent Clinic (collectively Valley) in May and June of 2016 and later sued Valley for professional negligence. Valley moved for summary judgment based on the statute of limitations and Moniz argued the statute had been tolled. The trial court denied Valley’s motion for summary judgment but certified the order to this court for review. COA #858530. King County Superior Court # 22-1-07454-0.
