Fairway Collections LLC v Michael I. Turner et al. Fairway Collections sued Turner to collect an unpaid hospital bill. Turner filed counterclaims against Fairway for violations of the Consumer Protection Act and the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Turner appeals the dismissal of his counterclaims, and Fairway cross appeals the denial of its motion to enforce a settlement agreement.
