Division 1 Court of Appeals

Hollywood Hill Neighbors v King County et al. King County approved a boundary line adjustment (BLA) application from Murray Franklyn Homes LLC to change the property lines of eight undeveloped lots in Woodinville. A group of local residents challenged the approval through the Land Use Petition Act (LUPA), arguing that the County should have denied the BLA because, according to the King County Code, the lots were too small to qualify as “building sites.” At the party’s request, the superior court transferred the matter to the Court of Appeals for resolution on the merits. COA #837907. King County Superior Court #21-2-15640-8 SEA.
