Our vision for a new facility that teaches people about their government, and encourages civic engagement in our community. Be a part of TVW’s $65 million investment to foster community engagement in Washington state government and help continue connecting Washingtonians to their government.
THE NEED
Poll after poll has shown that Americans are becoming more divided, and have lost their connections to their government and civic engagement.
OUR SOLUTION
We can expand our production services, renovate the Jeannette C. Hayner Media Center, outfitting the second floor to expand areas for streaming production and content creation, increasing production space and connecting citizens to their government.
OUR VISION
On top of our expanded production space, TVW intends to build the Center for Civic Engagement adjacent to TVW’s current location to act as a “front door” to the Capitol Campus.
