The Washington State Department of Transportation holds its annual worker memorial to honor road workers killed or injured in Washington. As part of the ceremony, Governor Jay Inslee signs Senate Bill 5272 relating to speed safety cameras on state highways. Speaking at the ceremony are Governor Inslee, Secretary of Transportation Roger Millar, State Patrol Assistant Chief Dan Atchison, Department of Transportation Director of Maintenance Operations Pasco Bakotich, Department of Transportation Memorial Foundation President Mike Gribner, and Adam Gonzales, a member of the thermoplastics crew for the WSDOT Olympic Region.
