An opening celebration is held at the State Capitol for Legacy Washington’s new exhibit “Love, Equally: The Journey to Marriage Equality.”
Participants include Secretary of State Steve Hobbs, Governor Jay Inslee, House Speaker Laurie Jinkins, Senator Jamie Pedersen, Former Governor Christine Gregoire, State Archivist Heather Hirotaka, Washington historian Stephanie Coontz, and special musical guests The Supertonics.
