TVW’s education resource, Teach With TVW, won an Emmy Award from the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for a documentary about Washington State’s 2016 Electoral College.
A Question of Faith: Washington’s Electoral College won in the Politics/Government – Program/Special category.
The documentary follows Levi Guerra, one of the electors in the 2016 Washington State Electoral College, as she struggles with her vote. The documentary also includes interviews with WA Secretary of State Kim Wyman and University of Washington Political Science Professor John Wilkerson.
The documentary was produced by TVW’s Education Department for its education resource, Teach With TVW.
This is Teach With TVW’s second Emmy win overall. Teach With TVW also won the Emmy Award in 2014, for the documentary Starcia.
