The Joint Transportation Committee holds a discussion to examine the outcomes of potentially implementing a “retail delivery fee” or what opponents call “doorstep tax” in Washington State. The fee, which currently exists in two other states–Colorado and Minnesota–would tack on a specific fee to online delivery order charges for the maintenance of roads and bridges.
