Legislative Review features highlights from Friday’s legislative activity (4/21/23).


Governor Inslee signs a bill that officially abolishes the death penalty in Washington state, by removing language in state law that authorizes the penalty. 


As the Legislature moves toward an April 23 adjournment, the House passes the 2023-25 state Capital Budget, and a conference committee announces agreement on a 2023-25 state Transportation Budget.
