Washington Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz joins local and state representatives for the official launch of the Evergreen Community Recognition Program to recognize and incentivize commitments made by municipalities, counties, and tribes to sustainable management of their urban and community forests. The launch event takes place at 1 p.m. at Renton City Hall.
