In Re Detention of A.R.
- The Attorney General Office (AGO) appeals an order assigning it as counsel to a designated crisis responder (DCR) in King County who filed a petition to commit A.R. for 180 days of less restrictive treatment. The AGO had previously represented other providers who had filed petitions to commit A.R. under the Involuntary Treatment Act. The AGO and King County dispute whether under the relevant statute, RCW 71.05.130, the county prosecutor was instead responsible for representing the DCR. COA# 875311.
