Each January, high school and middle school social studies classes around Washington get a front row seat to the legislative process in Washington State. With a volunteer lobbyist as their personal guide – the class explores issues they care about and learns how to play a part in the crafting of state policies as civically engaged citizens.
Teach with TVW is TVW’s civic education department, dedicated to helping people of all ages across Washington State understand how government works and participate effectively in the legislative process.
