Faces & Places of Washington State: The Lord Mansion, built in 1923 by banker Clarence J. Lord, was donated by his wife Elizabeth after his death in 1937. The State Capital Museum opened to the public in March 1942 after years of effort to secure state support. Dave Nicandri, (former) Director of the WA State Historical Society, gives a tour of the museum.
