State v. Rigoberto Alvarado
Roberto Alvarado appeals his convictions for murder in the first degree, assault in the second degree, and unlawful firearm possession in the first degree contending the trial court erred by denying for-cause challenges against two jurors, admitting prejudicial testimony that Alvarado gave police a fake name in an unrelated matter, and allowing the victim to identify Alvarado based on a photograph in a newspaper article reporting that prosecutors believed he, a felon, is the assailant.
